1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using the Lumos Web software application, you agree to be bound by these terms of use ("Terms"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the product and any services, features, content, or applications offered by Lumos (collectively, "Services").
2. Changes to Terms Lumos reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
3. Use of the App a. The platform is designed for educational purposes and intended primarily for users in K-12 education. b. Responsible Use: By using the product, you agree to do so in a lawful manner that does not interfere with or disrupt the service provided.
c. Intellectual Property: All content within the product is Lumos's property. Teachers are welcome to use the resources for their classrooms but should not copy, reproduce, sell, or exploit any material without express written permission from Ace It. d. Reproduction, duplication, copy, sale, resale, or exploitation of any software portion without Lumos's express written permission is prohibited.
4. Account Registration a. You may need to create an account to access some App features. You must provide accurate and complete information. b. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and restricting access to your device.
5. Intellectual Property. a. Lumos owns trademarks, logos, and service marks on the product or third parties and cannot be used without permission.
6. User Content a. The Platform allows you to upload content. You retain rights and are responsible for the content you post.
7. Content Guidelines and Enforcement a. All user-generated content, including flashcards created using Lumos, is subject to review. Content that is explicit, offensive, or violates guidelines will be removed. b. Accounts posting inappropriate content may be suspended or terminated.
8. Termination a. Lumos can terminate or suspend your account for breach of these Terms. b. Certain provisions of the Terms will survive termination.
9. Disclaimer The platform is provided "as is." Lumos makes no warranties regarding the App.
10. Limitation of Liability Lumos is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.
11. Governing Law The laws of Ontario, Canada, govern these Terms.
